Description
A caustic white crystalline powder. Lithium hydroxide is used in photographic developing solutions. It is also used as a sorbent for Carbon dioxide especially in spacesuits. Lithium hydroxide in used the in manufacture of alkyd resins and for the production of other lithium salts.
Risks
- Corrosive to skin, eyes and membranes.
- Inhalation and ingestion may be toxic.
