Description

A general term for a flexible strand of two of more fibers twisted together. The twisting action long lines of string to be formed from shorter lengths of fibers. Most commonly made from Linen or Hemp, string have been also been made from many types of bast fibers such as Cotton, Jute, Flax, Ramie, Sisal, olona, gravata, agel, widuri, caraguata, etc.
