Description

[Plaid Enterprises] A brand name for a water-based solution of Polyvinyl acetate that is used in many art and craft projects. Mod Podge was developed in the 1960s by Jan Wetstone. The name is a shortened version of 'Modern Decoupage'. It is advertised as an all-in-one Glue, Sealer, and Finish that can be used on Wood, Glass, Terracotta, Metal, Paint, and Fabric. When wet, the non-toxic mixture can be removed with Soap and Water. Mod Podge dries quickly and is available in Matte and Gloss finishes. Special formulations include mixtures with pigments and Glitter.
