Chymotrypsin

Description

A group of proteolytic enzymes. Chymotrypsin catalyzes the hydrolysis of various proteins, especially Casein. It is obtained from the pancreas of oxen and sold as a yellowish white amorphous powder. Chymotrypsin has been used for debridement and other types of cleaning.
